・OPC teams began cleaning out Dr Ogihara's dental clinic as a favor to him
in preparation to sell possibly to the government. 行政に買収してもらえるように準備するためOPCチームがおぎはら歯科医院の掃除をお手伝いする。 ・Larry Spalink, Cal Cummings, and Mr. Abe met with Dr. and Mrs. Ogihara to discuss the possibility of buying their dental clinic for the purpose of remodeling it into a relief center to serve the Yamamoto community and others communities in southern Miyagi. At that meeting they agreed to sell the building to the coalition of missions and RCJ for the expressed purposes. ローレンス・スパーリンク氏、カルビン・カミングス氏、阿部氏の3名がおぎはら医院長ご夫妻と話し合いをもつ。 その席で、建物を山元町や宮城県南部の復興支援センターとしてリフォームすることに決まり、交渉が成立する。 ・the sale was finalized with the title being held under the OPC Nihon Mission hojin. OPC日本ミッション法人が建物を購入する。 ・the containers with materials arrived in Japan. リフォームに必要な木材がコンテナで日本へ運ばれる。 ・the 1st of four volunteer construction teams from the OPC began working on reconstructing the dental clinic into a relief center. 工事のためOPCチームが働き始める。 ・Team #1 completes reframing and basic plumbing. 排水工事完了。 ・Team #2 continues plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. 下水工事・電線・壁の工事。 ・Team #3 does mudding, bathroom installations, kitchen cabinets, tiling, etc. 壁塗り・トイレ・キッチン棚・タイル張りなどの工事。 ・Team #4 Completes most finish work. Painting, flooring, door hanging, building the shed, etc.. ペンキ塗り・床・ドア・倉庫の工事。 ・CRC Team #1 more painting, shoe and slipper racks, ペンキ塗りの続き・下駄箱作り。 ・Opening ceremony. 85 in attendance. 開設式。85名もの来客が集まる。 |
